The Kelly Brothers

This is a relatively new musical venture for us that grew out of communing together on Friday nights over a few beers at Dan's kitchen table. During the 1980s we played together in a band called Rude Awakening at bars focused around Toronto's Queen Street west but soon went our separate ways, musically speaking.

While we have a wide variety of musical interests and experience, what we enjoy and excel at together is roots rock and "folk" music. We write songs that don't intentionally follow any trend, but like a lot of modern music, the songs come out mainly as hybrids of traditional rural music and rock music. Have a listen to find out.
